For 4-5 persons
Ingredients:
Coconut : 1 cup grated
Chutney daal : 1/2 cup
Green chillies :3-4 or as per taste
Hing : a Pinch
ginger : 1 inch
tamarind : 1/4 lemon size
salt as per taste
Oil : 1 Tbsp
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp.
coriander leaves : for garnishing
Method:
- Grind chutney daal, coconut, green chillies, salt, tamarind, ginger, Hing together to make a fine paste adding little bit water if requiered.( too much water will make it more watery.)
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to it.
- When it splutters, pour it into the paste and mix well.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with dosa or idli.
This is a perfect combination for dosa, idli and ven pongal.
