For 4-5 persons
Ingredients:
Ivy gourd/Kundru Cut into pieces) : 250gms
Onion chopped: 3 nos.
Coconut shredded : 1/2 cup
Chillli powder : 2 tsp.
Garam masala Powder : 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil : 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Hing : a pinch
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadhai and put mustard seeds.
- When it splutters, add Hing and then add onions and fry it till transparent.
- Now add kundru and fry till half cooked by sprinkling water in between if necessary. ( but do not add too much water otherwise it will become more mashy)
- Now add salt, garam masala and chilli powder to it and mix well and fry for five minutes.
- Add coconut and mix well.
- Serve it with chappati or as a side dish for any rice combination.
